Polish Parlor
Polish Parlor was an installation for Fotofest, located in the lobby of an abandoned movie house in downtown Houston that had also been used a a shoe shine parlor. Old x-rated films damaged by a leaky roof were gathered to make columns of reels and curtains of film. The shine bench was polished and hung on the wall.
